Set Course is an independent personal project that pulls your travel data into one place and enriches it with local information — not a commercial travel agency, booking service, or emergency service. Nothing in the app should be treated as a substitute for official guidance, professional travel advice, or your travel provider's own terms.
What Set Course does
Set Course brings together publicly available and third-party data — weather, safety advisories, points of interest, tides, currency rates, flight status, and more — to help you plan and stay aware during a trip. It also lets you import booking details you provide (by pasting a confirmation email or entering them yourself) and, if you choose, share a trip with travel companions.
No guarantees on accuracy
Live data is sourced from third parties (see the Privacy & data policy for the full list) and cached for a period to keep the app fast and offline-capable. It can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Never rely on Set Course as your sole source for safety-critical decisions — always check official sources (your government's travel advisory, local authorities, your airline) directly.
Limitation of liability
Set Course is designed to help you think and prepare — it surfaces information so you can make your own decisions, it does not make those decisions for you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owners of Set Course are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or other liability arising from actions taken (or not taken) based on information shown in the app, including but not limited to weather, safety, flight status, translation, or any other data source. Use your own judgement, especially for anything safety-critical, and verify against official sources before relying on it.
Your account and content
You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you enter or paste into Set Course (trip details, party names, kitty contributions, feedback). Do not paste anyone else's personal information without their knowledge. You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time from Profile → Danger zone — this is permanent and cannot be undone.
Shared trips
If you invite someone to your trip via a share link, they will be able to see and contribute to the shared Group tab (party, kitty, itinerary) for that trip. Only invite people you actually want to share that with.
Changes
Set Course is under active development and may change, and features described as "Demo data" are placeholders, not real integrations yet. This page may be updated as the app evolves.
